Drum Cutters can be widely used in the excavation of tunnels, channels, and municipal pipelines; highway pavement crushing, mining, and rock permafrost excavation; open-pit coal mine excavation, surface innovation, steel industry, forestry and other construction fields.
1) For tunnel excavation. In most cases, milling machines are only used for the excavation of tunnel profiles. However, in the stratum suitable for low-hardness rock formations and permafrost strata, the milling machine can be directly used for tunnel excavation, especially in the process of crushing and excavation, with low stratum disturbance and high safety. In broken rock formations and old loess, the excavation volume can reach 30-60m3/h.
2) The milling and excavating machine is especially suitable for areas that are not suitable for blasting construction; the milling and excavating machine is easy to operate, highly controllable, and the excavation contour is clear and accurate; it can easily solve under-excavation repairs in tunnels, trenching on the inner surface, and excavation of side ditches And other issues.
3) Excavation: On-site excavation is generally divided into two steps, namely the two-step step method. Because all equipment needs to be stored on the steps, the distance between the upper and lower steps is 800-1100m. Step-by-step excavation and support: After excavation, steel mesh and steel grid spray-mixed support are used to support the tunnel. In soft rock, the depth of excavation per excavation depends on the rock formation on the palm and the pre-design of the tunnel design unit, generally 50~80cm.
4) Excavation cycle: After excavating with a milling excavator, the excavator takes out the surface of the palm and stops it on the surface of the tunnel. Then immediately after the loader starts working, install the support structure, spray and mix, and then proceed to the next cycle of excavation construction.
5) Solve the problem of excavation that has just been supported: the excavation rate of the milling machine in clay (and TD takes a 140-type milling machine of about 30 tons as an example) m3/h. When using a milling machine to excavate in a clay layer, it is rare that the cutter head is wrapped in clay and cannot be used. Clean the cutter head with water or cut some dry and hard surrounding rock with a milling machine.
